Album Description
These 13 tracks are for an as yet unreleased and unfilmed film. The music is a perfect blend of original film soundtrack, country driving, and fellini-esque game show music in the Tortoise, Yo La Tengo, The Sea and Cake, and Talking Heads vein. The interplay between the guy/girl vocals and harmonies gives it a layered quality and versatility. The pop songs are interspersed throughout moody instrumentals, a bossa nova, minor key hillbilly westerns, and raucous boomers.
