5 out of 5 stars The song Mystery.......2006-03-22

It is Deep Purple...it is not the song A200. The song is "Child In Time". The only thing is he is playing song at about half way (not from the beginning)and it is a live version.

4 out of 5 stars Replying to another post.......2006-01-18

To the person who was wanting to know what the song was playing when they went after the first storm, I believe it is Deep Purple's "A 200" from the "Burn" album. I think it is a live version, and I dont' know which album it comes from. The TV in Dusty's truck that you see when that song is playing, is showing footage of a Rainbow concert. There are obvious ties of course, and I have no idea if Rainbow ever recorded "A 200".

1 out of 5 stars looking for a song?.......2006-01-11

I need to know something... I need help with this one... The song right when they go off to see the first tornado.. It's sort of rock orchestra... I love that song and can't figure out what it is. Help!

4 out of 5 stars Really Good But Could Be Better.......2003-07-06

Twister is my favorite movie and my favorite song is "Humans Being" But the soundtrack could be better. There were a few songs in the movie that were not included in the soundtrack like "Motherless Child" by Eric Clapton. "Long Way Down" is a great song by the Goo Goo Dolls considering most of there songs are slow."Respect The Wind" is a pretty good instrumental song but is a little too long and can get a little boring. "Virtual Reality" is a OK song but is kind of annoying when you hear it more than one. The rest of the tracks arn't too rememberable except for a couple from the movie because they were played low and not for long. Although i really love this CD, The Twister Score by Mark Mancina is much better.

5 out of 5 stars Chase the Storm and the Romance.............2002-12-15

Just like the film, this soundtrack of "Twister" has you experiencing all the action and adventure of chasing the storm, to the stormy and unpredictable love affair admist it. Feel the excitment of the chase and the coming of the tornado with songs like "Humans Being" by Van Halen, and "Virtual Realty" by Rusted Root. Experience the hearbreak and the joys of love with romantic ballads "Love Affair" by K.D. Lang and Shania Twain's "No One Needs To Know".Then you'll be thrilled once again by the forces of nature to the tunes of "Twisted" by Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham and "Respect the Wind" by Edward and Alex Van Halen.

This album has something for everyone. It's a great mix, including music by Red Hot Chili Peppers and Mark Knopfler.(see buying info for complete list) If you haven't seen the film, you'll want to after listening to it and if you've already seen it, the album will make you want to watch it again (and vice versa!).
