Customer Reviews:
A soundtrack that takes you through the movie.......2000-03-18
First of all, I need to mention the movie "Somewhere in the City". It was a very musical movie, the music being as much a character as the people. If you have seen this movie, each song on the soundtrack will just bring you to the point in the movie where it was showcased. A couple highlights: Yoko Ono - a fun song that makes you want to start jumping around; The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black - just makes you want to be part of that whole underground scene, if only for a day; and finally, John Cale - what can I say? All of his score is beautifully done. If you are going to buy this soundtrack, I would recommend seeing the movie as well. They work much better together than apart. But you won't be disappointed!!
