Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars refreshing sound.......2001-07-06

Over shadowed by the straycats in the 80's often ignored for being too commercial and not original as the straycats ,but listen to this and you'll change your mind ,29 great tracks with a polecats own unique touch which now sounds as refreshing as when it was first released. Its like a 16 year old again in the 80's discovering Gene Vincent for the first time .

5 out of 5 stars POLECATS ARE GO!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2000-04-03

Thank goodness the Polecats are still making music 20 years later. Enough of these boy bands. Bring back some real music about real issues. This is one great album with 29 songs to choose from. Only problem is that I wish there were more.

5 out of 5 stars One of the Best Records in History.......2000-03-06

The clouds parted and a choir of angels sang. A beam of light shone down on England, and the Polecats were created. This godlike band is the platonic ideal of musical perfection.

The Polecats have been my favorite rock group for 19 years. This is their best record since "Polecats Are Go," which was never released on CD. This is one of the best records I have ever heard. It is a huge error that this group hasn't received the recognition they deserve. The guitar, vocals, rythmn, and production on this album are flawless. If radio stations weren't so format-oriented every other song on this album would be a hit.

It's true that the Polecats tend toword upbeat, fast songs. If you want gloomy, non-melodic complaint-rock, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you're that depressed, this record might be just the thing for you.
