Album Description
Known around the Northwest Rockabilly Club circuit for their wild crowd-gathering live shows, Dizzy Elmer, with the help of long-time Big Sandy and the Fly-Rite Boys member, Wally Hersom, in the producers chair, have poured out their pompadoured souls into 14 highly catchy tracks. From the intense Gene-Vincent-on-Benzadrene vocal delivery by singer/guitarist, Jethro Grady on the self-penned opening track, Dizzy Mo, to the dark, moody 'This Bad Dog' with Skeeter Joplin driving the song like a locomotive to the base-slappin' western swing style of 'Fanny Mae', this strong debut album keeps the listener guessing and surprised from track to track. This is good clean down-home American Rockabilly excitement at it's best, recorded on vintage equipment by a band with a flair for melody and talent to spare.

Get This CD... then get to a show!.......2000-10-23
This is a must see band! PURE TALENT. Find a way to bring them to your home town, you won't be sorry. A real tight band with the hottest little bassist there ever was (her back up vocals will make you cry for more), a smokin' drummer (his solos will knock your socks off), and a super cool cat singer/guitarist that made it all happen. These cats and that cool kitty-o are honest-to-goodness ROCK-A-BILLY rioters... THE REAL DEAL.
THIS BAD DOG- ONE BADDDD CD!.......2000-07-13
Well to be honest I never really listened to much rockabilly, but I was VERY impressed, not with just the music but their fashionstatement. Most groups nowadays try to imitate others, but why not beunoriginal? It definitely draws more attention and gives their music more character. But for sure you need to check this cd out, the price is so cheap for what you get. Their music is a fresh new sound based off of the original rockabilly. Don't think that just because rockabilly has been around for a while it can't attract the people of today- check it out definitely- IT'S AWESOME!
Go, Dogs, Go!.......2000-06-09
I got this a few weeks ago after being fortunate enough to see one of their rockin' live performances, and it hasn't left my cd player since!
Their wonderful songwriting alternates between sly humour, sweet charm and heart-throbbing bad-boy aggression and really sets them apart from most of the other rockabilly bands I've seen. Musically, their sound is tight and polished and makes you want to jump up and dance - and Jethro Grady's growling, deep voice makes you sit up and pay attention and wonder why no one else sounds remotely like him.
