Good harmonies and the appropriate enthusiasm, respect for, and devotion to the material. Two highlights are their version of the Elchords' controversial classic, Peppermint Stick (the lyrics are what we thought they might be, it seems), and their totally on-the-money take of the Marcels' My Love For You, which is just about good enough to replace my long-lost 45 version of it. I think it was the b/w of Heartaches on Colpix?

I have had the pleasure of spinning the songs on this cd for my customers in my Nightclub and found it to never fail me in getting people on the dance floor. The songs Peanut and Peppermint Stick are classics in every sense of the word. Those who wax a nostalgic for the beats and harmonies of the 50's and 60's sounds will find this cd their ticket to paradise.

Little Isidore and The Golden Inquisitors have a tongue in cheek persona, but their singing is the real thing. This is their second of what I hope is many albums. They cover all range of oldies, may of which are original compositions. Go see them and buy this. But why pay so much? Just visit their web site and order it much cheaper.
