Customer Reviews:
We get's live at the VACO show!!.......2005-04-10
I first saw VACO when they performed at Union College in 2001 and they blew us all away. They put a lot of energy into their show and if you aren't dancing and singing along, then you must be dead. With catchy lyrics and solid musicianship, you just can't take this album out of your stereo. Get in your car, pump up "Walk to Work" or "Jerry Jermaine" and rock out. In a more mellow mood? Listen to "This is Him" and imagine yourself in a little hammock on the beach. Either way, make sure you see them live...cause there's truly nothing better than screaming "We get's live at the VACO show!" with everyone else.
Awesome Music from some Great Guys.......2004-06-14
The first time I heard Virginia Coalition was live when they were preforming on a college tour. The guys are amazing musicians and have a real flair for preforming. Their music is happy, entertaining, and a little different; a nice break from the mundane songs played on the radio. I would reccommend this album to anyone who likes rock and enjoys mixing up their musical tastes!
"But don't take my word for it...".......2003-02-09
Positively-charged gems from 5 musicians with a plan to inject some danceable go-go funk into your jam-rock diet. You like DMB? You like George Clinton and the P-Funk All-Stars? You like James Taylor? You like all three? Regardless, sit back and listen as these five fabulous fighters of the funk fight meld some of America's finest musical styles into sheer art. You deserve it. Your friends deserve it. Put them both together with VACO, shake well, and enjoy.
And in the words of Levar Burton: "But don't take *my* word for it!" You might use a particular search engine that might rhyme with `bugle,' enter "Virginia Coalition Band" and read the newspaper links, peeps. I'd post them, but Amazon no-likie.
Cheers,
The Prince (not the King) Ad-Rock
