Better than the Original.......2006-10-04

Great CD! Didn't realize Duane Eddy had so many great hits, other than "Rebel Rouser" (e.g., "Peter Gunn" and "Ghost Riders in the Sky"). Here, "Rebel Rouser" seems smoother and mellower, than the original, and it still has its up-beat bounce. Perfect for the over-40 crowd.

"Dreams of Home" is a magnificient song that I play over and over! Can't believe I'd never heard it before! It's a hidden musical treasure!!! Wish everyone could hear what a beautiful, beautiful song it is!

just listened to the audio samples of this album unfortunatly they are not the original recordings,but cheezy ripoffs.Ill be keeping my vinyl ,as they are at least the old duane i can remember.........buyer beware

I have purchased 2 of Duane Eddy's CDs, (BEST OF) and (THE GUITAR MAN), I love them both.

not bad for the price, but a long, long way from what is expected and what was original.Deceptive marketing, for nowhere on this case or disc is anything said about it being a remake, etc.It is disappointing that it is so hard to find an original Duane Eddy recording, and this makes it even more so.The music is ok, but it is not what you may think it is.
