Customer Reviews:
In reference to "A Music Fan" 's review.......2005-11-24
I just wanted to make note that these guys are actually from Idaho, not Washington, as "A Music Fan" stated. Also, not mentioned were PJ Paul (cello and bass) and Justin Power (bass and drums). These guys are incredible musicians, and I'm fortunate enough to be able to count them as friends. These guys raised the Idaho "cool quotient" long before Napoleon Dynamite. ;)
an experience of a liftime!!.......2004-01-15
I can not get over how amazing this album is!! This album is an emotional rollercoaster. Everyone should pick this up. If you love the true emotional rock styles out there or a good modern rock progresive style get it. It rocks and musicianship wise they blow my mind.
Truly amazing!.......2003-04-17
I can't gush enough about this album and this band. The songwriting is spectacular, the musicianship is top-notch, and perhaps most important the spirit of the music is pure.
the band does indeed have a rather unique sound and it may challenge some listeners who are accustomed to radio-friendly pop. but for the patient and for those willing to open their ears, hearts, minds and souls, this album will amaze you. there's so much going on within it. these guys aren't interested in writing pop ditties that'll get them commercial success. they're true musicians, and true artists, that know their craft and their instruments. this isn't a fast food cd, this is a nine-course banquet of gourmet musical delicacies. there's real substance here.
my one and only complaint is the production of the album, at times, is a little weak, in regards to the way it was mixed. but it's a minor quabble, considering the places this album can take you.
i recommend this album with the utmost of enthusiasm. out of the hundreds of cds i own, this is in my top 5. it gets better with every listen. buy it.
Unbelievable! The only Christian band I know that rocks.......2001-07-17
This truly is a great cd!I saw these guys play live at my old church and I was astounded, and two of the guitarists are brothers none the less.I personally hate Christian bands, but these guys have some great tunes. This is definitely on my top 10 fav cds.Buy it!
