Tony Franklin will surprise you on this one!
His talent is shown throughout this CD. Not only is he THE Fretless Master, he displays his talent on guitar, drums, and vocals. David Coverdale makes a great appearance on Sunshine Lady. Bissonette and Appice make a solid contribution. Scott Kail is a strong vocalist that can belt them out, just like the big boys.
There are many Highlights: Higher, Time's a Healer, Watching the Story, Playing My Song, Sunshine Lady, and Today. Tony will amaze you on Marakesh Express, all by himself. Even the weakest song (in my opinion) Surrender will grow on you.
This CD is a MUST HAVE for any person that likes Rock-N-Roll with an edge.
