Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Another nice live show .......2005-11-09

I have to admit that I have only heard 2 live shows from String Cheese Incident. So I can't tell you if this is the best in the series.

The other show I have heard is from 2002. What is refreshing is that the shows are almost completely different. The sound and the jamming is different. I know they play a different set every night and the song selection is always different. But, with Grateful Dead or Phish, you still end up with a lot of repeat from one show to the next. Phish sounded nearly the same for about a stretch of 5 years.

There are some downsides to this set. The sound quality is just good (and not as good as the set I have from 2002). But, it is better than the sound quality on any of the Dave Matthews releases.

The audience noise is more prominent on this album than on the one I have from 2002. But, here again, it isn't nearly as bad as any live recording from Dave Matthews.

The other complaint is that there is about 10 minutes of talking to the audience that could have been edited out. The Audience Hoot is just a bunch of very unpleasant noises.
