If you're hoping to hear Oils songs played like the Oils play them, you'll be disappointed with some of the songs. These all-Australian bands have taken some artistic liberties, especially Augie March on Beds Are Burning and Regurgitator ('Gurge) on Stand In Line. If you've never heard the original of either of these songs, it doesn't matter, you wouldn't recognize them. Other songs sound much like the originals but with the artists' own twists. The vocals on some of the songs are not all that great, but then, that's what the big record companies said of Midnight Oil when they were trying to produce their first record.
