Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Any live NRPS is good NRPS.......2003-09-23

Sometimes when I read these reviews it seems like I'm one of the only people who remembers the old bootlegs we used to savor from our favorite bands like the New Riders. The sound quality on the first six tunes of this album is very good, with perhaps the best live "Henry" I've ever heard. It's an electric sound that has not been featured yet on their live releases, and I totally agree with the previous review of this album in that the energy is high and contagious. However, I enjoy the second part, as well, despite some hiss and an abyssmal "La Bamba" (why?!) Saying that the sound is enough to avoid this release entirely shows me how spoiled some people are in this digital age. This is more than worthy of your collection, although it's a bit pricey for the number of tunes.

2 out of 5 stars Should have stayed hidden underground.......2003-05-14

This is a terrible live recording. It is cheaply done(sounds like Twenty dollar tape recorder. the playing is Okay but the singing I think is awful. Reading the back we know why it was released but I think it should have stayed on the cutting room floor. StayAway
