Album Description

Robinson's second solo CD effort on Hellebore Records reflects a new crossroads in his life. He explains, "Following each monumental change in life, I find myself 'enthusiastically lost' excited for a fresh beginning, yet apprehensive of the path. Those two words describe how I view life."
Featuring a long list of friends-some celebrated, others simply famous in their own little world-the new CD encompasses everything from silly live recordings to deeply personal confessions. "Enthusiastically Lost" has found its way into hearts of radio programmers, club bookers, and music journalists throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
Though Robinson may call himself a singer/songwriter by trade, his music is difficult to classify. Often compared to Bruce Cockburn (who also combines a repletion of musical genres), Robinson easily travels from rock to jazz, to folk, to new age, never afraid to add an "island" feel to a tune or an "alternative" edge to an instrumental. Although Robinson's main instrument is guitar, listeners will appreciate his abilities on mandolin, lap steel, bass, keyboards, 10-string Chapman stick, bowed-psaltry, harmonica, percussion, banjo, and even banjo ukulele! Both of his CD's resolve with a humorous tune, adding a welcomed punch line to each work.

Customer Reviews:

1 out of 5 stars Agitated Minister.......2001-06-08

I am a Minister at my local parish, and upon purchasing this CD at my local pawn shoppe, I was anxious to get it home and listen to it over dinner with my beloved family. I soon became deeply disturbed by its content. I could not believe the vulgarity that spewed forth from my compact disc player. Since my children were in the room, they became frightened and I was forced to put them to bed early and bless their soiled ears with holy water. Since this incident, my wife and I have been praying nightly for the restoration of our children's innocence and that Bradford Robinson's soul may be emancipated from an eternity spent in the bowels of the fiery underworld.

Peace be with you all, Reverend Johnson

5 out of 5 stars Truly world music.......2000-02-11

Great soul, this one. Eclectic mix of tunes with range and depth that resonates well with 30 somethings who have been in and out of love but not given up hope. This guy has been around the world and it shows.

1 out of 5 stars bradford sold out.......2000-01-18

i found Bradford Robinson's first musical attempt much more revolutionary and enjoyable. This second release of his seems shoddy. It sounds unfinished and unrefined as if it was forced out the door before it was really done. Bradford needs to go back on the drawing board this time. Also, I found some tracks RATHER offensive and vulgar.
