Product Description

What Happened to Turn Signals, the debut release from Skippy and the Bellbottoms, is a journey through a vast sea of social observations and bittersweet nostalgia that is as moody and dark as it is uplifting and thoughtful. With the intricate touch of producer Arrison Kirby, the disc combines modern minimalist electronics and effects with an organic pop sensibility reminicent of Wilco, The Beatles, My Morning Jacket or Modest Mouse.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Amazing talent.......2006-02-20

I recently purchased this cd after someone led me to it. I've listened to the tracks over and over again and am still in awe that this is the amazing talent of one person. Jeff Maynard is an extremely gifted songwriter and musician. I can't wait for his next release. This cd is for anyone looking for that "something different" to listen to, with a meloncholy sound. Knowing that Jeff's lyrics are about his take on what goes on around him, I can't wait to see what he comes up with after receiving his first music award.
