GooD MUsIC.......2006-05-17
mm yes very good music to listen to...but 5 bucks there selling it for?? thats a tad cheap?! anyhoo lol shh i sing all the songs while having a shower :P
album has a couple of standouts but monotonous (3 1/2 stars).......2005-03-08
I decided to get this album after I heard the song "never had so much fun", which is the best song on the cd, and i was a little let down when i listened to it
Never had so much fun- 10/10 awesome song, guitar solo, drumming, bass, everything. if you dont get this album, at least get this song off of itunes or something because u will love it.
You are not my friend- 6/10 very monotonous and boring
Its up to you- 9/10 great upbeat song. really fun to listen to
I know everything about everything- 7/10 kind of catchy, one of the better slower songs on the album.
I miss my lung- 4/10 this song just doesnt belong on this album. it should be on some acoustic compliation or something.
We're going out tonight- 8/10 fun song, a little poppy, but still really fun.
Let's drink beer- 10/10 awesome song! 3rd favorite song on the album. starts off kinda slow but really picks up to a really fast song with a really cool guitar solo and an extremly catchy chorus.
I know why dinasaurs became extinct- 1/10 whats the point of this song?
I dont need your loving (all i need is a spinal operation)- 6/10 also a slow monotonous song. the chorus is kind of catchy.
Self destructor- 8/10 I like how frenzal rhomb did this song cause they made it upbeat but still quiet and its pretty fun to listen to.
Im the problem with society- 8.5/10 cool song with some cool guitar riffs, cool chorus.
Do you want to fight me? 10/10 really really good! its my 2nd favorite song on the album. has an awesome guitar riff in the bridge, and a sweet solo. really really catchy.
methadone- 6.5/10 another pretty monotonous song. its ok at some points.
Writing's on the wall- 8/10 fun song, upbeat. kind of different, but still really good.
Summer's here- 7/10 Its upbeat and has nice guitar and drums and all, but for some reason it doesnt seem very good like the other upbeat songs. Frenzal couldve ended this album off alot better.
Fun Songs.......2003-09-03
In times where the charts are dominated by boy bands, soppy love songs and girls who can't really sing but do look nice while attempting to, it's great to have albums and bands like this one.
Sure in twenty years time none of these songs will be in music hall of fames but who cares? These songs are fun, simple and you don't have to think about them too much. Never Had So Much Fun, Summer's Here and I Don't Need Your Loving are my favourites.
Lyrics are also included which is a good thing because their accents are pretty strong in some songs but once you know the words you will understand. Also photos in the cover booklet of a plastic camel in an ever emptying pint of beer. Go on, have some fun,...
Watta letdown.......2000-08-04
Had this been the band's debut, Frenzal would no doubt have been heralded as a force in the making. And rightly so. But coming as it did on the heels of the brilliant Meet The Family and the almost-as-brilliant Not So Tough Now, Camel is a major disappointment. There's some good stuff here (Do You Wanna Fight Me, We're Going Out Tonight, So Much Fun), but overall it's too inconsistent. One for Frenzal newcomers only. And if you can track it down, snaffle up a copy of Mongrel, a live album from Frenzal's Vans Warped tour of a couple of years back. It was released in Oz as a bonus disc with Family, and it's easily one of the best live pop/punk albums on the planet. Your ears will love you for it. Trust me.
Funny punk.......2000-03-06
With this CD Frenzal have really managed to put humour and punk together. Songs are always throwing twists, such as I miss my lung. The name sorta gives it away, but when first hearing the song your not expecting the song to be about a missing lung.
A man's not a camel is Punk, but it's not really that punky. It's slightly pop, but don't let that put you off. I don't like most pop, but I still thought this was a decent CD.
It is also a pretty aussie CD, Frenzal's a pretty aussie band.
