If you want the CLASSIC extended mixes of Chic's hits, then 'Dance, Dance, Dance - The Best Of Chic' is for you!! Not a single edit to found here...unlike 'The Very Best Of Chic' disc, which does have a few more tracks (as radio edits). I also enjoyed reading the extensive liner notes & rare photos in the CD booklet. IMO, 'Dance, Dance, Dance' is the better Chic compilation, and I decided to personally remaster my original 1991 disc to get rid of the dreaded muddled sound & analog hissing (these are problems with all of the CDs released on Atlantic's 'Re-Masters' Series from the early 1990's.) I also added 3 BONUS TRACKS...12. A Warm Summer Night (1979), 13. Rebels Are We (1980), and 14. Stage Fright (1982).

If you already own 'Dance, Dance, Dance', consider remastering it yourself, and enjoy an even BETTER single disc tribute to Chic! If you don't have this CD, get a nice used copy for the low-low here on Amazon...your collection is incomplete without it!

"Dance Dance Dance: The Best Of Chic" is one of the best "Best Of" CDs I've heard in a long time.
All the songs are presented in their full-length glory!
Chic was one of the most popular groups of the disco era and this compilation is sure to make you a fan, if you're not already!
The sound quality is superb and there is a nice informative liner notes booklet included.
All-in-all a "must have" for disco fans.

Remember the unique Chic sound? Well, it's all here plus a few tracks that weren't so well known. For those who were struttin' their stuff back in the day, it's pure nostalgia, for those a little younger, it's a lesson on how to make dance music without a computer. My only criticism is that there could be some more tracks on this CD. However, the title of the CD gives a clue to the standard of the music. Good Times!!!

This CD is not only amazing but also worth the price. Rogers and Bernards are so exceptional in coming up with all the tracks. This is one CD that collectors of disco music should have.
