Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Definitive Pressurehed.......2007-02-02

Tommy G and Pressurehed's best album, Sudden Vertigo sounds like an unholy cosmic cross between Hawkwind, Chrome and Cabaret Voltaire. There's really not a bad song on Sudden Vertigo, though of course some are better than others. The highlights include "Majestic 12," "Slo Blo," "God's House" and the incredibly frenzied "Shock Neck." The band's cover of Robert Calvert's "The Right Stuff" is simply excellent and is probably the best cover of the song ever--certainly superior to Monster Magnet's cover a few years ago. If you like space rock with an industrial flavor but a psychedelic feel, Pressurehed is definitely your trip.

4 out of 5 stars Pressurehed - 'Sudden Vertigo' (Cleopatra) 4 1/2 stars.......2006-05-30

Band's second of three(so far)CD's.I've always liked Pressurehed simply because of the way they successfully fuse industrial metal and space rock together.I've apparently met them before I even knew who they were,as they were Nik Turner and Del Dettmar's touring band on Turner's 1994-95 U.S. treks.Cuts that had me keeping this CD in my 'current rotation' stack for quite sometime were "Red Delta",their re-working of a Bob Calvert gem "The Right Stuff","Man In Static","Wet Engines"(check out the intro) and "Slo Blo" in which they'll often play during their live sets.Highly recommended.Should appeal to fans of Helios Creed,Anubian Lights,Monster Magnet,Deviants and possible even Acid Mothers Temple.Give this one a try.You won't regret it.
