Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars great but short.......2002-11-19

this was the coolest thing i had ever heard when i was a kid.

3 out of 5 stars not that bad........2000-11-25

i bought this because it was on the dexter's cigar label, a reissue label ran by jim o'rourke and david grubbs of gastr del sol, today. i don't know much about circle x, but from the cd i am guessing they were from louiseville or something. it said they moved to new york to record this album.

anyhow, it's pretty good. kind of reminds me of a cross between shellac and some early punk bands. i can see how this would have some influence on a lot of the post rock/punk chicago scene (it was recorded in 1979.)
