Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars You won't regret this!.......2004-04-05

This is simply a wonderful album. Please let your own ears be your guide as far as Matt's voice goes -- it's distinctive, NOT unpleasant. There is so much creativity on this one. I really do believe that folks who hear this will be drawn in. "Unknown Flowers on Your Dress" -- simple, very different from anything else I'VE heard. There are a number of creative, catchy little tunes to be found here. I only wish it were about twice as long as it is -- every time I hear it I'm saddened that it ends in under 40 minutes. Pick this up, really.

1 out of 5 stars Simply Awful.......2002-12-19

Poor Matt Marque. His voice is awful. What little talent he has cannot make up for the excrutiating off-key singing voice he has. I would rather listen to a cat being skinned alive.

5 out of 5 stars best ever.......2002-09-18

i have personally seen matt marque in concert and have heard his stuff before. his music is amazing, especially the witty lyrics. keep on the lookout for more music by him. he's sure to be around for a while.

4 out of 5 stars What a breath of fresh air from radio pop.......2002-01-22

Matt Marque's record "get there" is a very good CD. I recieved a copy from a representative of his record label (truckstop) and immediately fell in love with it's simplistic yet effective approach to music. it relaxes me anytime i am needing relaxed.

5 out of 5 stars AMAZING....moving..beautiful.......2001-08-24

I bought this album 3 days ago and have been listening to it on repeat ever since. It rocks! The Spiral in your Stare has a smooth beat with some interesting vocals, and the lyrics are just awesome.. They are haunting and heartfelt. "We (Simultaneously)" is one of my favorite songs. "Here we are" is a bizarre but catchy acoustic instrumental song with a cheap drum machine beat. Track 10 "We should never have dated" is just beautiful.
