5 out of 5 stars I Can't Handle The Truth.......2007-05-02

I love this CD so much that I hate hearing the truth about it...that this recording isn't really live in the volcano at all, but recorded later...that Carlos barely plays a note on the CD, etc. To better enjoy this great CD, forget the truth! Go with the myth that this IS the actual recording, live, from the volcano, that all the amazing guitar IS Carlos playing...believe the myth and the CD is a mythical treasure.

At first the right title of this album is Carlos Santana and Buddy Miles Live. This japanese version is amazing. The remastered job is perfect. I own the original vinyl and the US CD of 1994 and the sound of this new japanese version is far away better. Also the quality of the miniature LP replica is perfectly done. For those who love this album and already own the previous CD throw it away and buy this one. For a Japanese collectible limited CD the price is very good.
You will not regret it !
