Information about Jennie is hard to find but her producer, Bill Kirchen, is noted for his work with Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen. I came across this album on Amazon by chance when searching by song title. What is clear is that Jennie likes to rock'n'roll although there are some great ballads here too. The production is simple, but that's how rock'n'roll started out, so I love it.

Jennie shows how it's done with brilliant covers of Lotta lovin' (Gene Vincent), One night (Elvis Presley), Good good lovin' (James Brown), Knee deep in the blues (originally an American hit for Marty Robbins but a much bigger hit for Guy Mitchell), Riot in cell block 9, Fujiyama Mama (both recorded by Wanda Jackson in the fifties) and All I needed was the rain (from one of Elvis Presley's soundtracks). There are also some excellent original songs including the title track, Don't be true and A little bit of forever.
