Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars 5 stars just for time tides. remember is 3, title track is 2, the rest is -1........2006-06-04

when i got this i didn't know it was knew. i'd just gotten sunny days again (awesome), and didn't recognise the song names so i thought it was older than one fine morning, which is the earliest that goes (most likely not on cd. silly me). then i listened to it and almost cried, it was so bad. the title track was a bit interesting, and i like the intros of remember the times and, but they couldn't save the disc from being used as a coaster.

i changed my mind when i heard time tides. a great instrumental song without the singer's annoying pretty boy poppy voice. it was a six& a bit minute musical orgasm. that song alone was worth more than what i spent (it was pretty cheap tho, used, but that's beside the point). it opens with a classicalish piano solo for a while, then skip prokop comes in tapping his cymbals, the brass joins, and it's sounding amazing.

and when the guitar solo starts, it's something more than music. it sounds like the universe is crying. the first note he plays did more for me than stairway to heaven.

if they'd put time tides as a bonus track on sunny days again and thrown everything else out, i'd be blissed.

1 out of 5 stars Lights Out!.......2001-10-17

In 1968, rock drummer Skip Prokop, pianist Paul Hoffert and guitarist Ralph Cole formed the nucleus of the Canadian band Lighthouse. They released a few albums with various vocalists, but struck gold in 1971 with "One Fine Morning," featuring lead singer Bob McBride. They released their last album in 1974 and disbanded. Lighthouse reunited around 1982 and toured sporadically over the years. Unfortunately, in 1998, Bob McBride died.
