Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Silent Masterpiece.......2002-10-04

Silent Knight is without question, one of Saga's finest moments. Every track is a winner and the band play superbly throughout. My only gripe is that the disc it a bit short, clocking in at 37.44. Favourite tracks are 'Don't Be Late', 'What's It Gonna Be?', 'Help Me Out' and 'Careful Where You Step'.

5 out of 5 stars Definitely their best cd.......2002-07-29

This cd is a long lost classic porgressive rock cd. Every song on it superb..if only it would have been the follow up to world's apart(although heads or tales is quite good) it could have probaly sold more than it did. Did you that the music label dropped them after this relaese..opps ..world's went on to sell 5 million world wide. Anyway, let's get the cd my favorite's are help me out, compromise, too much too lose, and it's time to go. The production, timing and play on this cd are all first rate.

5 out of 5 stars 17 Years Old and Broken Hearted.......2002-03-14

I bought this album when I was 17. I bought it during the cold winter of 1982. At the time I was close friends with a girl - let's call her C - who was devastatingly attractive, gorgeous, precocious, a year younger than me, but so much older in other ways. C didn't want to be my girlfriend - just a platonic friend. I went out one Saturday afternoon and bought this LP and Journey's Departure. I still remember sitting, alone, in my bedroom on a wintry November's evening and hearing Don't Be Late, the 1st song on this album. I remember the rush of melancholia that hit me during the chorus. Every song here is beautiful. Tunes that stick in the mind like musical fish-hooks, those lovely Michael Sadler vocals. I still think of C when I hear this album. She's dead now, sadly, but Silent Knight lives on in my heart and in my dreams.
