5 out of 5 stars Zee Best I Have Ever Heard From An Uzbekistan Waddle Hole.......2004-05-18

The arpegioators are of the highest quality here. It is stunning how only one person can do this. I imagine d an entire orchestra of many people doing this art. Wow! I am really impressed! This is amazing. And stunning. I mean to say that it is genius. Only genius could achieve such impressive stunning things. Amazing. I am amazed and stunned that only artists can do such impressive stunning amazements which can only express themselves in high quality arpegioators. If you don't like this record, then go listen to something stupid and overrated like the Velvet Underground or so called Classic Goth like Joy Division or Bauhaus, you dummy. If you don't like it, then you're stupid!

5 out of 5 stars For it's early years, still a beautiful album........2004-04-20

No, it's not complicated. It can't really compare with 9/10 of Steve Roach, Brian Eno, and the like. But "Before The Buildings Fell" remains one of my most played chillout discs ever since I've owned it. Already on my 2nd copy of it, the soundworlds created aren't the most diverse, but each one remains amazingly strong in it's own right. Pile on the scooped feeling of the title track with the frightening "leading to the edge" and then add the simply amazing "the amber girl" and already I'd take it as an EP. But with the 9 songs presented here, the slowly composed keyboards driven by arpeggiator with sparse other instrumentation and mixed to 4-track, Sam Rosenthal proves himself a masterful artist even in his college years. I'm looking at a 1.99 used price. For the 2.50 shipping cost, you pay what, $4.49. If you just need to hear this, buy it used. Show it to friends. But if you feel confident in the mastery of Sam Rosenthal, I swear to you, you won't be dissapointed, I've had no one turn this disc away. If you don't like it, I'll take it :).

5 out of 5 stars Happy and Peppy and Bursting With Love!.......2004-04-11

This record makes me happy and peppy and bursting with love.
I don't know what it is, but it made me think about J.P. Morgan.
And how her big glasses really accentuated her shag haircut. I also really like how when you're in a room full of people and how somebody farts and everybody pretends not to notice it and you have to wonder if there are people out there who actually like the smell of farts. And are not really pretending. And you wonder, "am I one of them?" And then you tell yourself, "of course not, I would never enjoy something like that." And you feel a twinge of guilt, because, you know that you actually did just make an effort to smell the fart, no, not because you enjoy it, but because you just had to find out what that fart smelled like. Even though you don't enjoy that sort of thing.
After you discovered what the fart smelled like, you tell yourself, "see? I did not enjoy the smell of that fart." And you feel much better because you're not a pervert who likes to smell farts. And everything's beautiful. That's how this record makes you feel.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect Cd.......2003-11-26

This album images much to my blood. Slow as deamons and dreamy as thoughts. Perfection.
