3 out of 5 stars They are a vapor.......2004-12-11

I didn't like the Scissor Girls hearing their CD. It wasn't until I saw live footage of them playing that I started to appreciate the unique genius that was the Scissor Girls. I give it 3 stars because while I like it better now, I still find it a little hard to listen to... Check it out, completely different then anything else.

5 out of 5 stars My dad hates it.......2000-05-27

In my humble opinion, this is The Scissor Girls greatest effort. They capture the purest spirit of No Wave idealism, and manage to entertain at the same time! An innovative and highly-underrated album in the music world. Give it a twirl on your stereo.

5 out of 5 stars Pure Genius.......1999-11-18

If Marcel Duchamp's "Large Glass" had a soundtrack accompanying it instead of those three Pandora's boxes of cryptic notes, it would sound like this. The anagrammatic bass-line on "World of Unreal Time" alone is worth the price of the CD. P.S. Marry me, Azita!

4 out of 5 stars R THEY MAD, or RAD?.......1999-03-08

I've never heard anything like it. My cousin from Austrailia smuggled it in. It has deep tone, is wired electrically, and super-spaced out. I do like it enoug though that I shall give it a thumbs UP (they know where).
