A Good Album Whatever You Decide To Call It.......2005-12-26
This is the self-titled second album from the group 35007 from Holland. Their style is heavy progressive, and it is well worth checking out. The band released this album 50 years, to the day, after Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier. Often the group is classified as "Stoner Rock", although the band does not put itself into that category. This is an improvement over their debut "Especially for You", but falls short of what they would achieve on "Liquid". For some reason, this album sometimes is listed as having the title "Into the Void We Traveled". However, it is listed as "35007" in the band's catalog on the Stickman Records web site.
The group's members were shrouded in mystery, although over time they have become known. This CD has the lineup of Eeuwout Baart (vocals), Bertus Fridael (guitar), Michael Boekhoudt (bass), Mark Sponselee (sounds, synths), and Jacco Van Rooy (drums). The band also includes Luk Sponselee (vj), and Pidah Kloos (sound engineer) although one would have to have seen them live to completely understand their importance to the group.
