this cd has a good selection of latin rock bands from northern and southern california like malo and santana san francisco sapo also from san francisco azteca and tower of power from oakland and la best war el chicano and tierra this cd is worth buying

This is one of few compilations that contains and documents the story of the Chicano/latino experience. These songs are very hard to get on cd. This is a sample of the old school chicano sound of the 70's and 80's. It is also a collectors item. For collectors and fans of Chicano music I highly recommend "Back to the barrio" - Rare and hard to find Chicano classics vol. 1. this is a great 21 song collection on one cd from Chorizo Records. reach them at www.chorizomusic2003@yahoo.com
