Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars In (oiistaa<tight>) Dub.......2000-08-17

I first heard this album at my freind Wiisha's house and have liked it ever since. It becoming harder to find so buy it. It's bassy as all hell, and I've quite a few fond memories of hearing this, yet smooth. Deadly, Women Respond to Bass, and Thunder are worth the price of the album alone. Women Respond to Bass is a tight little song......after you hear you will wonder how you Rah'd the Sun without it. It rahs the sun Oiistaa Style.

4 out of 5 stars Isolated excellence.......1999-12-23

There is some good stuff on this recording. There are those who would disagree, but I would venture to call RSW's distinct sound of sample-blending somewhat minimal. You can clearly hear how RSW has influenced artists like Fatboy Slim.

The best two tracks on this recording are nos. 2 and 3, Bacteria and Deadly. Bacteria has haunting flute samples that sound kind of South American, and Deadly has some excellent choral loops and twangy guitar noises. Both of these songs have tribal sounds to them, and they make me want to reach out and hug the world. There is a lot of emotion in this music. However, the rest of the album didn't sound too outstanding to me, but those two songs alone make this album worth purchasing.
