After reading a review of this disc in Blue Suede News, I picked it up and it was totally worth it. Mystery Action rocks big on tracks like "Fan" and "Conspiracy"; Delivers solid pop hooks "Ms. Constance" (with a nod to Elvis Costello) and "Trade Publication"; And, tells Brit-Mod stories eloquently on "Conspiracy" and the Clash-inspired "Some Kids Will Riot".

Mystery Action's influences come through loud and clear: The Who, The Small Faces, The Ramones and Elvis Costello....good stuff! I love this CD and it is recommended.

I had to take a road trip just to listen to this album in the best venue... the car, the open road, the windows down, and the volume up high! Reminded me of Elvis Costello, but much more listenable. Once it starts it doesn't let up and you get caught up in the excitement. These three guys obviously love the music they make. Very well done.
