Best ever!!!.......2004-12-20

I have loved Torben Floor since 1999 when I first heard this CD. In high school, I was best friends with Chris and Carey Ott's little brother, so that's how I found out about Torben Floor (which was their grandfather's name) and I still LOVE them to this day. This and their second CD, Matinee, are my most played discs. And if you like this one, Matinee is 100 times better. They are all studio tracks, including a very polished and amazing Sunbathing. BUY THEM BOTH! You won't regret it.

From the begining.......2003-10-29

Torben Floor has been out for some time, at least four years. This album has followed me through college, triumphs,heartbreaks and everything in between. The songs speak to me and give me a lot to dream about. Sunbathing has come a long way from it's original track. I found relaxation, inspiration,and great memories with this album.The music is very original and the vocals are a reflection of Carey Otts exposed heart. I am so proud of their success and their dream to pass on the music. The most inspiring part of this group is that they really did begin in an apartment as just a dream.

Best unknown band I've come across.......2003-06-24

If you love original music you will love this band. I got to see them in a very small setting in wisconsin and they were great. check them out.

i was introduced to this band by a friend who went on exchange to america and lived with chris and carey ott's (2 of torbens band members) dad. He bought home the cd and played it to me, and i was blown away. The music is so melodic, it makes you wonder why these guys aren't yet huge. The songs have great catchy lyrics, accompanied by amazing guitar sounds. The lead singer and guitarist, carey ott, has been recognised as sounding similar to radioheads singer. If you like radiohead, jeff buckley, the beatles, bob dylan or neil young, then you are guarenteed to love torben floor. I have been listening to their music for over a year now, and i still haven't grown sick of it. Also, i recently purchased their new cd matinee, which was produced in a studio, and what can i say?? They have once again prodeced an awesome cd. Their signature song, sunbathing is a stand out song on their first cd, and for matinee, they released a new version of the song which has been greatly improved to sound even more unbelievable. I can honestly say that i have never come across a better band than torben floor, and i look foward to their future music. If you have not yet experienced torben floor, then i suggest you do, because you don't know what your missing out on. Thankyou, and enjoy!
