Well below par!.......2007-02-14

As an avid fan of the great man for 30-odd years, I can only say that this release is just plain awful! After his marvellous "PASSION" acoustic album, and the great "10,000 Clowns on a Rainy Day" Live release, I was expecting more of the same, but this seems more like something aimed at Dance Music fans than his usual followers, as it features an incredibly annoying Bass & Drum beat throughout! Perhaps it's time to re-think about another stint with Thijs Van Leer's FOCUS. Their latest FOCUS 9 is much closer to the mark. CU is a real stinker from one of the World's most adventurous guitarists. (Perhaps TOO adventurous this time!)
