Rip your head off.......2001-04-13
Loud, hard charging and full of soul...thats Michael Katon. If your a guitar fan you can't miss with this recording. Much like Walter Trout, Katon is realtively obscure in this country but popular in Europe. The title track pumps hard coming out of the gate and keeps getting hotter. No more whisky, lucky lucky lucky, and Barebque on my Boogie are all time Katon classics. Buy this Cd and be prepared to be boogied to death!

How come hardly anyone has heard of Michael Katon in the U.S.? This album has no redeeming social commentary to offer, just great greasy riffs of a funkiness I thought only southern bands could generate. Think of a pre-Eliminator ZZ Top reincarnated as an obscure, hard working bar band and you get the vibe. Crank up your air guitar and enjoy.
