Customer Reviews:
Great man in history!.......2006-08-16
This man was also the musical director for popular singer Lulu's BBC TV show, that ran through the late 60's. "Lulu's Theme" is sampled on her one song that is on "The Mickie Most Recordings", Show Me, and was originally used as the show opener.
He also went to Spain with Lulu, where under his direction, she won the 1969 Eurovision Song Contest with the international hit "Boom Bang A Bang".
The beat cover of "Give Peace A Chance".......2004-12-20
I am a huge Beatles fan and rarely do I hear a cover that holds a bright candle to the original. Johnny Harris really knows what it's all about. A funky-groovy-orchestral mixture makes this record a MUST HAVE. He does a version of The Rolling Stones' Paint It Black that breaks bounries and there are also some great original compositions that have made me a Johnny Harris fan forever!
