covers by golden earring is quite a experience. every song they did was excellent. growing up listening to those songs when they first came out and hearing golden earring do them blew my mind. thanks to the band and producers for such great music done again. not one bad song on the disc.

Face It comes on the heels of the excellent Bloody Buccaners, and is nowhere near as good or consistent. There are some gems here, mainly the fast-paced, high energy rocker "Legalize Telepathy", "Freedom Don't Last Forever", a rocker which starts off slow beore taking off. "Maximum Make-Up" and "Johnny Make Believe" are the other ones that stand out. "Minute By Minute", on the other hand, is completely forgettable and uninspired, and I don't see anything good in the overrated "Angel".
