it is sad to think that buddy holly had a very short life. from h his first decca recording in 1956, to his final recordings for burnswick/coral in late 1958, to his home recordings in early 1959, a few weeks before his demise, alongside, ritchie valens, jp. richardson, and the pilot, roger peterson,to head a gig in south dakota,but never made it there,since thier plane crashed into a frozen cornfield. many of the finest talents,frozen forever,but thier music lives forever.
