O.K, so this is what I call talent. This girl has an absolutely amazing vocal and writing talent. My personal favourite track on the cd is 'Ladder in my Tights' and probably 'Misfit'.What a shame there's a lot of people who never heard of her. Amy Studt's awesome!

good first album.......2004-06-10

I loved "Just A Little Girl" and "Misfit", so I was excited when I saw her album "False Smiles" in the shop. I bought it straight away, hoping for more excellent songs like the singles I liked so much. But the other songs on the album are all quite slow songs, not as upbeat as the singles she has released.

This is a good album, but not exactly what I was expecting.
Best song: "Ladder In My Tights"

I have been waiting forever since I first heard "Little Girl" for this album to come out and it was so worth it. Here is someone with real talent, she writes and sings with emotion. And the funny thing is that for how I much I liked Little Girl, now that I have listened to the whole cd it is not my favorite, there are many more songs that I love more. My favorite has to be "Happy Now" and when her voice breaks, you feel the heartache. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. You have to admit, Simon Fuller know his stuff.
