Overproduced, but still a lot of fun.......2006-02-03
I think he had Elton John's old manager pushing for a more commercial release, but this was the first record of his I managed to get ahold of after the "June 1, 1974" live recording with Eno, Nico and John Cale. I may actually like and play "Bananamour" or "Yes, We Have no Mananas", which might be a bit more Genuine Ayers, but this was the album that I got my hands on that was a necessary stepping stone towards being a fan. I am suprised more of his songs are not covered by other people.
