Customer Reviews:
For Your consideration..........2006-10-08
I think this is the best review of this item, wouldn't you agree? Say did you do something with your hair? You look like you lost some weight! I really find your good qualities to be so admirable, bad qualties? Whaaaaat?
PMFS pure emotion.......2002-10-23
PMFS at first listen, i was not that impressed, but then the singer voice grew on me. There is not a more emotional voice in punk today, you can feel his voice and his sadness or anger. Knife in the Marathon is the second cd on Deep Elm, and very enjoyable. Though i still like the self titled disc from Deep Elm better, less screaming, but he still manages to get his emotion in. Never the less, if you like the self titled check these guys out, they are great.
Louder! Faster!.......2001-08-02
While their self-titled debut wasn't bad by any means, Planes Mistaken For Stars truly found their identity on "Knife In The Marathon," which leaves their debut in the dust. This is a new brand of rage-addled, hardcore-influenced, heavy rock that will blast a hole right through your skull. For those who are looking to fill the void left by bands like Unsane, "Knife In The Marathon" hits the mark consistently. As good as this EP is, Planes' new full length, "Eff With Fire" (on No Idea) is truly amazing. A masterpiece in it's sheer power.
a short boy, but worth it.......2000-09-09
This cd is really short. Really. But PMFS pack a lot of emotion and straight-up good music into this record. 66 Crush and the hidden Unbroken cover are my favorites on this cd, but all of the songs are so good that its hard to pick just one or two. This cd is probably the closest thing to capturing the energy of live PMFS set as any band could hope for. You will proabably never see them, so trust me. I think these kids are from Colorado and I would almost travel there fron Virginia to see them play if I didn't have the cd already. Well...ok, maybe not all the way to Colorado, but you get the picture.
