UK release compiles the best of the early 70's hit series 'Hot Hits' (think 'Now' & 'Hits') which produced 20 volumes & sold in the millions. Additional material was pulled from 'Hot Hits' sister series 'Soul Hits', 'Rock 'N' Roll Hits', 'Hits 67' & 'Hits 70' & the sleeve notes tell the story of the bigger picture. The whole catalogue was recorded by session singers & musicians including two tracks featuring David Bowie & two tracks featuring Elton John. This is the first time this historic series has been put on CD. Remastered from the original tapes recorded at Abbey Road. 40 page booklet with every original LP cover.
