Customer Reviews:
no other ep can compare!.......2005-04-01
this is the first album released by the early november. the album is about relationships and the lyrics represent that well. this album is amazing for the fact that this is their first cd released. i don't know how to label this band for they have a very distinct sound. if you like emotional/punk music with exceptional lyrics and musicianship then check these guys out. also, check out their acousic ep and their full length "the room's too cold". every song stands out to me on this album so it's definitely worth your $8 bucks.
Passable, but still better than their full-length.......2005-03-05
The early november is okay, not bad, not good, just okay. Room's too cold is a terrible album tho IMO, mainly cuz its too slow and emo-ish (I hate emo, its fa*gy). For all of this starts out rockin' with every nights another story, a catchy punk song w/ an awesome chorus. the albums keeps it momentum pretty much the whole way thru, never really breaking away from the standard sound. There are a few boring emo moments, but for the most part its solid pop-punk. fans of their newest release may or may not like this one, but anyone into punk or pop-rock will enjoy it.
It's funny how things work out........2004-09-15
I actually bought this cd just because it was 8 dollars, and conviniently located right by a listening station in FYE where i was listening to the starting line. It was about 2 summers ago, and i had no idea who these kids were, but i figured it was worth a try. 8 dollars can barely buy you a hamburger.
It took a little while, but this cd has been one of my favorites. Maybe they aren't as mature as a lot of other bands, but their lyrics are easy to relate to, and they have a lot of talent as well. I've seen them live 4 times, and they never failed to leave me in awe. Much better than the rooms too cold.. regardless if it's an ep or not. So, pick it up. You won't regret it.
BEST TRACK - For All of this. It's such a cute song, you'll want to dance for hours. I know i have.
WORST TRACK - You write the wrong. The ending is extremely drawn out, you'll get bored of it after about 5 minutes, i promise.
Terrific EP.......2004-07-13
Perhaps it was a mistake for me to buy and listen to this album before their followup album "The Room's Too Cold," because although their followup is decent, I find myself listening to this the majority of the time. The EP is of course relatively short as expected, but you'll find yourself playing it twice to make up for it. Everything from the brilliant and, for the lack of a better word, "harder" songs "I Want To Hear You Sad" and "All We Ever Needed" to the emotional acoustic "Sunday Drive" is perfect. Best $8 I've ever spent.
