Customer Reviews:
Wish I was there.......2005-10-04
Randy and a crack band play most of the hits from Guess Who and BTO while Randy tells an inside story on each song. The band is tight and the renditions are very good, not quite note for note but close enough that the songs aren't changed at all. The stories are terrific and Randy sounds like he is having a real good time.
The band is really good and a band member who sounds a lot like Burton Cummings sings a couple of his numbers. Everyone who attended the concert in Vancouver left with a terrific musical memory. My only regret is I wish I was there.
fun listening.......2004-04-13
great stories, and the playing is excellent.
the intresting part of the cd is the "toned down" versions of "let it ride", and "four wheel drive".
definately worth a listen. wish that he had more time to expound on obscure tunes, and some of the "ironhorse", "union", and solo things.
