Customer Reviews:
A True Fan,.......2003-12-09
I happen to think its nice, its pleaseant, all and all I enjoyed listening to it. Keep up the good work, its worth every bit of it. Stay cool.
Their BEST cd yet.......2003-09-08
This is the Barrio Boyzz best cd yet, the songs are ALL fresh, original, infectious, blending modern and traditional latin sounds seamlessly. The lyrics are absolutely beautiful, even poetic. Ignore the poor reviews, they for some reason fail to see how much the group has grown and matured with this cd. One listen and you will immediately see it is far superior to previous material, and in and of itself an excellent, excellent cd. You will wear this one out....one of those cds you love every song and play it till you drive everyone crazy......hope their next cd is as great...
Not at all the real thing.......2002-09-27
First of all I'd like to mention that this is NOT the real Barrio Boyzzz. Barrio Boyzz made hits back in the days which captured pretty much everyone's attention one way or another.( eres asi, no me dejes, cerca de ti,..) Their style was unique, fresh and clean. I can not find that in this album...why? because this is just another "group" using the name of a great legend. unfortunately I find it difficult to top. but anyway, i did listen to the album and frankly...I can not say much because it dosen't say much at all to me.
Just A Cheap Imitation.......2002-06-22
I was a huge fan of the Barrio Boyzz, but after the departure of it's three founding members (Angel Ramirez, Robert Vargas, & Louie Marreo) with out it sounding to much like a cliché the magic was gone. Just listening to the difference in sound and the quality of harmonies in this album and you will be just as disappointed as I was. Unfortunately they have become a cheap imitation of what I knew to be the Barrio Boyzz. I am giving them one star just because that's the lowest rating I could give them, because if it were up top me I'd give this album a -5. To all the original fans out there just reminisce on the good old days with the album [...].
