Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars guiters, vocals, and guiters.......2002-04-06

The only reson that this album is not a 5 is because Ted himself didn't do the guiters. However, if you like hard hitting ax players, you have to pick this one up. Guitar greats like Jake E. Lee, and D.J.Ashba grind out hard licks and crunching solo work. buy this album to [upset] your wife/girlfriend.

5 out of 5 stars A Great Tribute to Terrible Ted.......2001-06-20

I've bought many of the recent tributes ranging from excellent ("Thunderbolt" AC/DC tribute) to spotty ("Leppardmania" Def Lep tribute). This tribute to Sweaty Teddy is one of the best. First and foremost is the guitarwork. I've been a big Jake E. Lee fan for a while, and his work, as is the other guitarist's, is impeccable on the disc, particularly on "Just What the Dr. Ordered." The great guitar work is reason enough to have the disc, but the singing is top notch as well. I'm a big fan of Jani Lane, Taime Downe, and Phil Lewis and was pleased with their performances, but I was pleasantly surprised by the great turns by others. Kory Clarke and Marq Torien, namely. All in all, a brilliant tribute to the Motor City Madman.
