Customer Reviews:
Uhhh... Is this some kind of joke?.......2001-07-23
(yawn) This CDs just one of those indie CDs that really slap a phony smile on yr face and make you pretend you like it. Other times, its a really boring and cheesy mixture of independent rock and pop which makes you ask, "Why did I buy this CD?" I'm sorry Peel fans, but I just dont get into such music
An overlooked pop classic.......1999-09-22
In a just world, "Square" would have stormed up the charts. Snappy melodies, crunchy guitars - this album has it all. Unfortunately, apparently pop bands can't get any airplay these days unless their name is "Third Eye Blind." Our loss. "Square" recalls the glory days of the Byrds, Fleetwood Mac (back when Lindsey Buckingham had something to say) and, yes, even the sainted Beatles. Pick up "Square." It's hip.
