Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars my first metalcore album.......2005-04-30

This was my first metalcore album, I first picked it up at a hot topic don't know why I was in there but I listened to it in the store and I got chill bumps I love the anger in metalcore in evergreen terrace whenever you feel like screaming let them do it for you I leave it in my cd player.

4 out of 5 stars Top quality live show.......2004-09-24

Jacksonville, Florida boys in EVERGREEN TERRACE have been making strides in the music scene since their inception back in 1999. With a relentless touring schedule, two full length albums and a live show that leaves the audience in awe wherever they play, the band is rapidly becoming one of the established genre-blending metalcore acts in today's music. Their passionate brutality is one that is capable of leaving a lasting impression with anyone who likes bands like POISON THE WELL, TWELVE TRIBES (to a degree) and 18 VISIONS. Their satirically named album, "At Our Worst" is a collection of lives tunes taken from two live shows from 2002 and 2003. Although the title of the record is a pun towards themselves, the quality of the recordings were healthy and most importantly clean. If you have any of their other albums, it won't be a stretch for you to appreciate this live album. The translation from a recording studio to a live setting seemed relatively flawless and it displayed their natural ferocity on stage. Also on the record are four demo's they cut back in 2000. They didn't have many positive things to say about those songs in the liner notes but in all actuality, they were quite stirring. For those who know little about the band and aren't familiar with their music, this record may not be the ideal starting point (you should pick up their debut for that-it's amazing). For the current fans though, this should compliment your collection.
