Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Impressive.......2002-01-21

I got this after Echo Park and found that it wasn't as good as it. This is a great album with a lots of different kinds of tracks on it with the mellow songs including "Tinsel Town" "Dry" "So Well" & "Paperfaces" (Paperfaces being by favourite) and the heavier and faster songs including "Insomnia" "Hole In My Head" & "My Evergreen". So a brilliant compilation of fantastic songs. Better than Polythene & Swim but Echo Park is my fave. Best songs - Yesterday Went Too Soon, Hole In My Head, Paperfaces, My Evergreen.

5 out of 5 stars Brilliant.......2001-04-13

Feeder are an antidote to the flood of dire 'nu-metals' bands around at the moment.Unlike Limp Bizcuit or Papa Roach they do not belive that shouting makes a good song. Their songs are clever and very catchy. Songs such as 'waiting for changes' and 'hole in my head' are inspired. Their slow ballads are quite superb and'tinseltown' is brilliant. They beat bands such as green day and blink 182 for not constatly focusing on teen angst. if there is any justice in this world then feeder should become massive.

5 out of 5 stars The best album EVER! - and I'm not biased, it is that good........2000-12-08

Grant Nicholas is something special, here in the UK he's already been compared to John Lennon by a couple of magazines, and even after only 2 albums, this is quite fair when the quality of songs he's produced so far with Feeder is so high.

Every song on this album is a classic. Feeder effortlessly mix enjoyable, emotional, powerful, mellow, epic... (I would go on if I could think of more words) songs which means you won't forward one single track.

From the pure 'turn it up loud' guitar riffs of Insomnia to the gentle, sweeping riff on the title track, the feeling contained within Paperfaces and the quirkiness of Day In Day Out - I can't describe every song so do it for yourself, go out and buy this album!

If people choose to ignore Feeder, then they are missing out on some great music, this CD is hardly out of my CD player - and after having it for nearly a year now. It's a travesty they aren't more widely recognised. Hopefully that will finally change with their next album.
