5 out of 5 stars Jericho RVA!!!!!.......2004-10-11

I'm lazy as well and didn't feel like signing up but I also wanted to give a review to a really great band. I went to go see Avail at Topcat's in Cincinatti and one of the bands playing there was Jericho RVA, what can I say? These guys were pretty catchy. Worker's Union, the lyrics, great stuff. What do you know I ended up buying the cd and buying a shirt. I liked one track so much that my girlfriend actually almost kicked my ass in the car...I'm tired now, I'm going to bed...goodnight internet surfers. Buy the cd.

BUY IT BITCHES!

4 out of 5 stars When the Battery Dies.......2004-02-08

First of all I'm 23 years old and I was to lazy to sign up and become a member of the site. So let's just pretend I'm 13.This is a great CD by a great band. I scored a copy of the previous release "When the Battery Dies" (Gunboat Records) for $5.00 at a record store. I believe it's out of print but if I were you I would search long and hard because it's an amazing album. From what I understand it was recorded in a matter of hours...it's very raw and full of energy which is what makes it so great (unlike Workers Union.) I have seen them live a couple of times and they sound great (other than the guitar player constantly having problems with his amp) but in a way the live show is very disappointing because they don't play very many songs off from WTBD...even when the entire audience is shouting requests. They claim they havent rehearsed the songs which is just stupid because the older songs, in my opinion, totally blow away the new songs! If you like Workers Union then get When the Battery Dies!

My brother Jeremy is in this band. Since I had to listen to him practice guitar for hours and hours when he was really bad, I think you should all pick up this album now that he and his mates are putting out some tremendous music. Just think - you didn't have to listen to Jeremy practice in our bedroom with his little Gorilla amp - not once! And yet you can listen to the fruits of his labor now that he is a professional, polished songsmith. Sounds like a good deal to me.
