amazing live.......2003-03-17

i saw these guys live opening for claypool, it was the coolest thing i've ever seen done with a violin, cello, and drums. simply an amazing record and if you get the chance to see them live, do it, you wont regret it in the least.

Repetitive, but still amazing.......2002-12-22

Violin and cello heading a Zappa/Claypool-ish rock band? Intriguing, eh? This album is very original and refreshing. The music is very funky and exciting, but by about the 9th song, it starts to all sound the same. Still, an amazing debut, and definitely worth the money.

I listen to this album all the time, I love it. These San Francisco musicians are quickly becoming a household name in the hard rock scene. They are a violin, cello, drum trio, they are electrified and the're sound will blow you're socks off. This album is tight and the production is awesome. Both Ben barnes(violin) and Sam Bass(cello) have recorded with Les Claypool for his new solo album.
