Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Nicely surreal and dreamy........2006-10-16

Very retro- sounding throughout and as you listen you are reminded of just so many timeless British artists/bands. There are distinct shades of David McWilliams "Days Of Pearly Spencer" and 1967 'Beatles' era. Scott Walkers influence is to be found on the title track (maybe?) Vocals on "Wildly Polite" reminds me of Reg Presley from "The Troggs". "Bag Of Rice"/"Dumbox" have that Pink Floyd (during Syd Barratts era) touch to it.
Most youngsters who read this review won't know who the hell i'm referring to but the legends live on through talented musicians like Eric Lichter.
I really LOVE the cover as well which conveys a cozy, lazy Sunday in London. I can relate to this feeling very well.
